Purpose
Basra Delight is committed to conducting business with integrity, transparency, and accountability. This Anti-Corruption & Anti-Bribery Policy outlines our zero-tolerance approach to bribery and corruption in all business dealings and relationships.

Scope
This policy applies to all employees, directors, officers, contractors, consultants, suppliers, and any third parties acting on behalf of Basra Delight. It covers all business activities, regardless of location, and applies to both public and private sector interactions.

Policy Statement

  • Basra Delight strictly prohibits any form of bribery, corruption, kickbacks, or unethical business practices.
  • No employee or representative shall offer, give, solicit, or accept bribes or improper payments, including cash, gifts, hospitality, or other benefits, in exchange for business advantage.
  • Facilitation payments, also known as unofficial payments made to expedite routine government actions, are strictly prohibited.
  • Business dealings must be conducted with due diligence to prevent corrupt practices and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Employees and representatives of Basra Delight must comply with this policy and report any suspected violations immediately.
  • Management is responsible for promoting an ethical culture and ensuring that employees receive adequate training and resources.
  • Third parties acting on behalf of Basra Delight must adhere to this policy and be subject to appropriate due diligence.

Reporting & Enforcement

  • Employees must report any known or suspected bribery or corruption incidents to the designated compliance officer or via the company’s whistleblower channel.
  • Violations of this policy may result in disciplinary action, including termination of employment or contracts, and potential legal consequences.
  • Basra Delight is committed to protecting whistleblowers from retaliation.
